The alternative torch relay of the 2012 London Olympics, featuring the capital's most scruffy urban animals, celebrating the Games in their own way. Olympic Vermin is a self initiated short film, co-directed by Leo Bridle and myself. Full credits here. The film was shot in the streets of London, partly with a Go-Pro camera and a very long pole. Making Of here. The characters were then drawn on top and animated with 2D digital animation. Released just before the 2012 London Olympic Games, the film went viral pretty quickly, raising over 200 000 views on Vimeo. It was labelled "Vimeo Staff Pick", showcased on various blogs (Motionographer, It's Nice That, Cartoon Brew) and later selected to several festivals including Pictoplasma Berlin 2013.
